History

The history of Alcus is one of tragedy. After the last ice age, humanity found themselves stranded on a small nation in the southern ocean. Due to being thousands of miles away from anything, resources were limited. Those who had resources, abused the people. The result was a tyrannical rule of one ruler after another. The people eventually learned to live off of the land so that they never had to worry about losing everything. But that didn't stop the monarchy. Nothing did. There was many revolts in Alcus but none were successful due to there not being any effective and inspiring leaders. Usually just a group of people trying to topple an entire government. Never worked obviously. It is 680 C.E and now a new leader, Vlad Ryx has risen up to take a stand and he has a plan.
